The Lanier High School agriculture department hosts its annual fall pet vaccination clinic this month, where for $20 families can bring in their pets to receive vaccinations that will be active for a full year. Vaccinations for worming and kennel cough will be available at an addition fee, while medications to combat fleas, ticks and heartworms will be offered at a discounted price. Pets can also receive nail-clipping services for $5 cash. Vaccinations can be paid for by cash, check or credit card.
The pet clinic takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 in the agriculture building at Lanier High School, 1201 Payton Gin Road. No appointments are necessary to attend, and all proceeds benefit the Lanier Future Farmers of America organization. For more information, call 512-238-1093.
