More than 200 AVID seniors received their honor cords this morning, May 29, in a special ceremony at the Delco Activity Center.
Several seniors spoke at the second annual ceremony about their experiences in AISD's AVID program鈥擜dvancement Via Individual Determination鈥攚hich aims to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and other postsecondary work.
AVID students from throughout the district attended to congratulate the seniors on their accomplishments.
