果冻传媒app ISD is aware of the increased concern regarding the Ebola virus in Texas and throughout the world. We are working closely with public health officials to ensure we are receiving the latest information about this virus.
With recent reports of Ebola monitoring in the 果冻传媒app area, it is important to remember there have not been any cases in AISD. We want to assure you that if there is an Ebola-related incident in our district, we will quickly communicate with you, as we would during any critical incident.
The safety and health of our students and staff remains our top priority. To ensure your child remains healthy, please encourage them to always wash their hands with soap and water. Please know that students are allowed to bring alcohol sanitizer or non-alcohol based sanitizer to school.
As a reminder, if your child is ill please keep them home until they are fever-free, without the use of fever-reducing medicine, for 24 hours. We also recommend that all students, staff and parents strongly consider getting vaccinated against influenza.
As with any health issue, our school nurses have received training on the symptoms and protocols related to the Ebola virus. If you have any questions or concerns about Ebola, we encourage you to call your child鈥檚 physician, school nurse, or visit the following websites:
We will continue to partner with Dell Children鈥檚/Seton Healthcare Family and public health officials at the local, state, and federal levels to monitor this situation.
Thank you for your trust in 果冻传媒app ISD.
