In celebration of Youth Art Month, student artists will have their masterpieces on display at schools throughout the district during March.
Brentwood Elementary School kicks things off with an Encore Night on March 8, highlighting special programs in art, music, P.E. and more. The event will include an art walk featuring student art from all grade levels, interactive activities and a used book sale.
On March 10, Hill Elementary School gets in on the fun with a Fine Arts Festival from 6–8 p.m. On tap are musical performances, a student-created stop-motion animation film and a student art show.
Mills Elementary takes center stage on March 11 with its Big Art Day, where students from all grade levels create a collaborative art project that will be installed for the next school year.
Boone Elementary School follows that on March 31 with a community Fine Arts night. The evening's activites include music and art stations.
Bryker Woods Elementary School follows that up on April 14 with an art show.
