The Texas Education Agency has redesigned the way STAAR results are communicated to families by revising their as well as the Confidential Student Report.
The reports were emailed to parents and guardians with valid email addresses, and were or will be physically mailed to everyone else.
Students will receive a hard copy when they return to school Aug. 21. In the meantime, .
To access scores online, parents will need a Unique Access Code that they will find on the bottom of any previous year's score reports.
There is also now a feature that will allow families to find that access code online. To find that code, three pieces of student information are needed:
- Student's first name
- PEIMS ID鈥攆or most students, this is their social security number. If it is not the Social Security number, it will be the state ID number (a nine-digit number that begins with an S) issued when the student was registered for school.
- Student's date of birth
