In celebration of Food Service Workers Appreciation Week, 果冻传媒app ISD is honoring the 650 employees who ensure that all AISD students have access to healthy, tasty food each day.
Our teams serve around 80,000 meals each day, nearly 13 million meals annually.
Whether it's Breakfast in the Classroom, salad bars, food trucks or scratch cooking, these teams go above and beyond day after day in feeding 果冻传媒app's future.
"It's teaching the kids to eat healthy," said Linda Johnson, food production specialist at Highland Park Elementary.
Johnson, who has been with AISD for 22 years, talks in the video below about what her days look like in the school's cafeteria.
