果冻传媒app ISD hosted members of the 果冻传媒app Board of Realtors on Wednesday to give 果冻传媒app-area Realtors a firsthand look at four AISD schools.

In its fifth installment, the tour focused on special campuses, beginning with the Liberal Arts and Science Academy.

At LASA, the group heard from Principal Stacia Crescenzi about the school's history and the its mission.

鈥淢y kids are prepared to excel in college,鈥 she said. 鈥淲e have a saying: 鈥業f you鈥檙e the smartest person in the room, find a new room.鈥 We want our students to always be challenging themselves.鈥

The group then toured the colorful campus of Travis Heights Elementary School, the district鈥檚 only elementary in-district charter, and enjoyed a performance of the school song by the Travis Heights choir students.

Students at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders greeted ABoR visitors with applause. Before the tour of the campus, Principal Kristina Waugh spoke about the school鈥檚 mission to prepare their girls to be young women who seek to change the world through the workforce and the community.

鈥淭hey design and build and prototype real solutions to real problems,鈥 she said.

The tour closed with a visit to Clifton Career Development School, where Principal Tony Dishner  said his students come from other high schools for about three hours a week to focus on career and technical education.

The goal is to prepare students who receive special education services to be ready to enter the workforce upon graduation.
