果冻传媒app ISD Proud: Three High School Students bring home top awards in Texas Science and Engineering Fair

On March 29-30 more than 4,000 participants, teachers, family members, friends judges, and sponsors gathered on the Texas A&M University campus to attend the state Texas Science and Engineering Fair.  

Sixth through 12th grade students compete in regional science and engineering fairs across Texas during January, February and March to advance to the state fair. The fair includes 20 plus categories spanning across engineering, biological sciences and physical sciences. Winning high school entries advance to compete in the Intel庐 International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

At this year鈥檚 fair three 果冻传媒app ISD high school students won top prizes:  

Bryce Yeazell, Senior Liberal Arts and Science Academy

2nd Place Biochemistry

Project Scope:  Raspberry Ketone as a Cost Effective Approach to Reducing Adverse Effects in the Treatment of Breast Cancer.

Adithya Kumar, Senior Liberal Arts and Science Academy

3rd place Robotics and Intelligent Machines

Project Scope:  Development of a stereoscopic vision algorithm to autonomously construct and respond to an accurate real-time disparity map of foreign environments using an ultralight region-based convolutional neural network.

Erick Barron, Senior Travis Early College High School

TX A&M $1000 Scholarship Engineering Mechanics
