It’s a short week for us in ¹û¶³´«Ã½app ISD. Students were released for winter break this afternoon and return to school January 9. We got to see our students do many amazing things throughout the semester, and we can’t wait to see what the second semester brings. It is our hope that our students enjoy some much-needed downtime.
I also want to thank our staff, the community and board for the many accomplishments we were able to achieve together over the past year. Being named the Lone Finalist for the Superintendent is humbling and an honor. This is only the beginning.
I’ll take the next two weeks to rest and reset and spend some time reflecting on our goals and priorities. January will start with me working with my team to develop a plan of action for the spring semester and beyond.

Esta es una semana corta para nosotros en el ¹û¶³´«Ã½app ISD. Los estudiantes salen de vacaciones de invierno esta tarde y regresan a clases el 9 de enero. Tenemos que ver a nuestros estudiantes hacer muchas cosas maravillosas durante el semestre y deseamos con ansias ver lo que traerá el segundo semestre. Es nuestra esperanza que nuestros estudiantes disfruten un poco del tiempo de descanso que tanto necesitan.
