District to Announce Teacher and Principals of the Year, Among Others
果冻传媒app, Texas鈥擳he 果冻传媒app Independent School District invites staff members, families and community members to celebrate district employees who commit their time, talent and energy to help strengthen 果冻传媒app schools.
What: Salute, an annual event honoring AISD staff members
When: 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14
Where: The Long Center for the Performing Arts, 701 W. Riverside Dr.
Background: AISD is teaming up with 果冻传媒app Partners In Education to host Salute, which gives the community an opportunity to recognize some of AISD's most outstanding staff members. This year, the Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, Classified Staff of the Year, National Board Certified Teachers and Teachers of Promise will be announced and recognized. In addition, for the first time, AISD鈥檚 Assistant Principal of the Year, Librarian of the Year and Counselor of the Year will be recognized.
The event will include student performances, guest presenters and prizes. The City of 果冻传媒app serves as a signature sponsor for Salute.
