Community Rallies to Give Wooldridge Elementary School Makeover

This weekend, more than 500 community partners will work together to beautify Wooldridge Elementary School. 

Who: More than 500 community partners, including members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, North ¹û¶³´«Ã½app Civic Association and the ¹û¶³´«Ã½app Police Department

When: 7:45–11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 

Where: Wooldridge Elementary School, 1412 Norseman Terrace

Background: This project is part of the Restore Rundberg Project and the goal is to clean up the Rundberg area, which faces maintenance challenges.

The beautification project includes:

  • Building a walking trail;
  • Landscaping;
  • Tilling up dirt and planting wildflowers;
  • Spreading mulch around the outdoor classrooms;
  • Cleaning the picnic area;
  • Cleaning and restoring the garden area;
  • Painting columns in the hallways;
  • Organizing reading storage room and library;
  • Assisting teachers with classroom projects.
