AISD SAT, ACT Scores Exceed State, National Averages

Students in 果冻传媒app ISD continue to outpace their counterparts across the state on the SAT and ACT exams, according to data released Oct. 25. by the College Board.

Since 2016, The SAT test has been scored on a 1600-point scale. The district's average SAT composite score of 1105 exceeded the state and the national averages of 1032 and 1068, respectively. Greater percentages of AISD students also met college readiness benchmarks compared with their peers throughout the state and nation.

"These scores are evidence that 果冻传媒app ISD continues to reinvent the urban school experience and support higher learning for all students," said Superintendent Paul Cruz. "I am proud to see this trend continue as we prepare students to succeed in college, career and life."

These results follow ACT results released last month, showing AISD students also outperformed state and national test-takers on the ACT assessment.

The ACT consists of the following subject area tests: English, mathematics, reading and scientific reasoning. The highest score possible on each section of the ACT is 36.
